Grace Covenant Church Stephen Ministry Class of 2007

For me, Stephen Ministry is a ministry that I have served for almost 10 years, nine of those as a leader.  Above are two of the classes of trainees that I helped instruct through the 50 hours of training.  Early in 2011 I have left the ministry because of other commitments I have at church, but my heart remains with this very critical ministry.  Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one Christian ministry for those who are going through a rough patch in life.  It could be losing a job, struggling through a divorce, or any other of a number of difficult or stressful situations.  Stephen Ministers are trained in all areas of providing encouragement and support for a wide range of issues they might encounter, and they have been instrumental in helping many at Grace Covenant Church.  See my link on the "Bible Study" page for more information on Stephen Ministry.  If you reside in the general Austin area and would like to talk to someone directly about Stephen Ministry, feel free to call Pastor Robin Wieber at GCC (listings are on the web site, www.grace360.org  )
