The Gray Museum
Up

A wonderful collection of radio memorabilia which was compiled by G. J. ("Jack") Gray, W8JDV, of Mason, Ohio, is presented in this 'museum.'  The museum is really a series of display cases and a small room with vintage radio equipment of all kinds.  Some of it dates from the earliest days of radios, and there are WW 2 aircraft radios, wooden and bakelite "all-American five" broadcast receivers and just about anything you could imagine.  For a small collection, this has a considerable breadth to it.   Below are a few photos that I took on a visit there in May, 2000 (my father, Delo, is pictured).  For a better look, click on the logo above and you will be transported back in time to the thrilling days of yesteryear when the radio reined as the supreme connection to the news and entertainment.
